Astrology

Explore the symbols of astrology and the basic parts of a birth chart. Use the language as a reflection tool while leaving room for individual experience.

Start with the three familiar placements

In astrology, the Sun sign is commonly associated with identity, the Moon sign with emotional habits, and the rising sign with how a person approaches new situations. These are symbolic interpretations within a tradition. They are not a scientific personality assessment, and a short sign description cannot capture a whole person.

Understand a birth chart

A birth chart represents planetary positions for a specific time and place. Signs, houses, and aspects provide different layers of interpretation. Accurate birth time matters especially for the rising sign and house placements. If the time is uncertain, mark that uncertainty rather than presenting a precise result as settled.

Read a horoscope thoughtfully

A horoscope offers broad themes for many readers at once. Ask whether a theme helps you reflect on something concrete in your life. You can take a useful question from a horoscope without assuming that its timing or forecast will apply to you. Keep your plans flexible and base practical choices on available information.

Respect differences

Astrological traditions use different systems, including different zodiac and house methods. Two charts may therefore produce different labels. When comparing interpretations, first check which system each uses. In relationships, ask someone about their actual needs and behavior rather than treating a zodiac sign as a verdict about compatibility.
